WASHINGTON COAST CLEANUP April 19th, 2025

Thank you for your interest in joining a beach cleanup!

Join hundreds of volunteers celebrating Earth Day by helping remove thousands of pounds of marine debris from participating Washington’s Pacific Coast and Strait of Juan de Fuca beaches!

Registration for the cleanup is by area as follows:

Long Beach Peninsula, Central Coast, Makah Tribal Beaches, Western Strait*, & Eastern Strait

*Alternative Option: Are you up for a few miles of trekking on the beach and carrying a load of debris on your back? Well, this option is for you! We have a small group that will be  heading to a remote beach location in the area to collect debris. If you are interested in this, please register for this site and email Mandi at mjohnson@ptmsc.org. Spots are limited, so please reach out.

Port Townsend, Port Hadlock and Shine Tidelands State Park cleanup registration supported by the Port Townsend Marine Science Center. Disposal supported by the Port Townsend Marine Science Center and Washington State Parks.

 

If you canʻt join us, please consider collecting marine debris next time you go to the beach. But don’t leave your collected debris on the beach. Take everything you collect back to a roadside dumpster or to your home’s garbage/recycling.
